Pinnacle Bank Arena Launches "Round-Up for Charity" Program to Support Local Nonprofits

Starting November 4, 2024, Pinnacle Bank Arena introduces its Round-Up for Charity program, an easy way for patrons to support local charities in Lincoln and Lancaster County. Debuting at the Nebraska women’s basketball game against Omaha, this program allows customers at Pinnacle Bank Arena concession stands to "round up" their purchases to the nearest dollar, with 100% of these donations going directly to local nonprofit organizations.

This straightforward program will be available during most ticketed events at Pinnacle Bank Arena, giving everyone an opportunity to make a positive impact on the community with a simple, small gesture.

Pinnacle Bank Arena’s Round-Up for Charity initiative is part of ASM Global’s corporate social responsibility platform, ASM Global Acts, the company’s commitment to social equity and global sustainability, serving the communities where it operates, and contributing to a healthier environment and planet.

Through the ASM Global Acts Foundation, the following four local organizations have been selected out of 90-plus applicants to receive donations from Pinnacle Bank Arena’s impactful Round-Up initiative.

Revolution Rescue
"We are a local nonprofit team that concentrates on animals at risk of euthanasia in our shelter systems, ones being bred and neglected at the hands of puppy mills and backyard breeders, and ones in domestic and animal abuse situations," said Deidra Slinde, President of Revolution Rescue. "Through rescue and rehab, we get them ready for adoption into their forever homes. We couldn't do our work without the generosity of our community through donations and fostering...thank you for helping us save lives." For more information, visit http://www.revolutionrescue.com/.

HUB Central Access Point
“We are honored to be selected as a partner with Pinnacle Bank Arena's Round-Up for Charity program," stated Rose Hood Buss, Executive Director of the HUB Central Access Point. "This collaboration will directly support The HUB Central Access Point for Young Adults mission to provide unconditional support and access to services for young people as they become productive, independent, and active members of the community. By coming together with Pinnacle Bank Arena and its generous patrons, we’re able to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in our community, helping them build brighter futures. Together, we are building a stronger future for the next generation." For more information, visit https://www.hublincoln.org/.

Lincoln Littles
“We’re grateful to Pinnacle Bank Arena for choosing Lincoln Littles as a recipient of Round-up for Charity donations," said Anne Brandt, Executive Director of Lincoln Littles. "In addition to helping families access quality childcare, this opportunity will bring greater awareness to the importance of early childhood education and care in our community." Mourning Hope Grief Center
"We're thrilled to be part of the inaugural Round-Up for Charity program," said Tara Gregg, Grants and Development Director of Mourning Hope Grief Center. "Grief affects everyone and reaches every corner of society. In fact, 1 in 15 Nebraska children will experience the death of a parent or sibling before age 18, and without support, these losses can feel isolating and overwhelming. Grief is a natural part of life, but when left unaddressed, it can have serious impacts on health and well-being.
"At Mourning Hope, we offer no-cost grief support and counseling to individuals and families, creating a safe space to heal and fostering hope for a brighter future. The Round-Up program is a powerful opportunity to support our programs and services, raise awareness, and share our mission with an even broader community. We’re excited Pinnacle Bank Arena has taken this step to galvanize support for local nonprofits." For more information, visit https://www.mourninghope.org/.
