About The Event
Nate Bargatze: The Nicest Man in Stand-Up and Comedy Superstar
Grammy-nominated comedian, podcaster, director, and producer Nate Bargatze is on a meteoric rise. Dubbed “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up” by The Atlantic and “One of the Funniest People” by CBS Morning, Bargatze has captivated audiences worldwide, selling over 1.2 million tickets on his record-breaking Be Funny Tour. According to Pollstar, Bargatze is currently the #1 earning comedian globally and ranks #12 in overall live tour ticket sales, alongside legends like Coldplay, Madonna, and U2.
Breaking Records and Making History
In 2023, Bargatze shattered attendance records at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and Salt Lake City's Delta Center, setting milestones as the top-selling comedian at both venues. By 2024, he had broken 20 arena records, cementing his status as a comedy powerhouse.
A Star on the Small Screen
This fall, Bargatze will co-produce a holiday variety special with Lorne Michaels for CBS, airing on December 19, 2024. He also announced his debut book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, to be published in May 2025 by Grand Central Publishing.
His recent hosting stint on Saturday Night Live received rave reviews, with Vulture asking, “Has Nate Bargatze Cracked the SNL Code?” After first hosting in 2023, his Halloween episode was praised by Entertainment Weekly as “frighteningly funny.”
Comedy Specials with Global Acclaim

- The Greatest Average American (Netflix, 2021): Grammy-nominated for Best Comedy Album.
- Nate Bargatze: Hello World (Amazon Prime, 2023): Amazon’s most-streamed original comedy special within 28 days.
Expanding His Comedy Empire
In 2023, Bargatze founded Nateland Entertainment, a family-friendly production company creating stand-up specials, sketches, podcasts, and scripted content. He also signed with Universal Music Group Nashville as the flagship comedian for its new Capitol Comedy label.
Recently, he shared the stage with comedy icons Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, and Sebastian Maniscalco for two sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl.
Clean Comedy that Resonates
Known for his clean, relatable humor, Bargatze has made 13 appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon—the most by any comedian—along with multiple guest spots on Conan, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
From Old Hickory to Worldwide Fame
Raised in Old Hickory, Tennessee, Nate now resides in Nashville with his wife and daughter. As he continues to sell out arenas and break records, Bargatze proves that clean, family-friendly comedy has a universal appeal.
