The King of Country George Strait continues to reveal exciting plans for 2022 with today's announcement of "Strait To The Star City," a one-night-only concert presented by Executive Travel set for Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE. 

With an unmatched 60 singles hitting the top of the charts—more than any other artist in any genre—during the span of his 30+ year career, Strait has collected 33 Platinum or multi-Platinum-selling albums, more than any other Country artist and ranking third across all genres behind The Beatles and Elvis Presley. The Texas troubadour is the only artist or act in history to have a Top 10 hit every year for over three decades and recently earned his 100th entry on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his latest single, "The Weight of the Badge." He has sold nearly 70 million albums and earned over 60 major entertainment industry awards, including induction in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.

About Asleep At The Wheel
Founded in 1970, Asleep At The Wheel has been part of the American Roots music landscape for more than 50 years. Although the band got its start on a farm in Paw Paw, West Virginia, Asleep At The Wheel became a cornerstone of the Austin, Texas scene upon its arrival in 1973. Inspired by western swing and honky-tonk country, the band has accrued 10 grammy awards. In the Fall, a career retrospecitve recorded with the current lineup -- and a few special guests -- will carry the band back onto the road, where they've remained a staple for five decades.

    TICKET DELIVERY: Pinnacle Bank Arena tickets purchased online will be mobile delivery.

    MOBILE TICKETS: Your mobile phone is your ticket. Your tickets will not be available for print or emailed to you. To access your ticket(s):  Download the Ticketmaster App or visit Ticketmaster.com on your mobile phone; log in to your Ticketmaster account and locate the order with your tickets; tap and show at the entrance into the event. Your phone will be scanned for entry and you’re in!

    Cell phone photos are permitted. No professional cameras or cameras with detachable lenses. No audio or video allowed.

    No water bottles brought into the venue. 

     

    NO WEAPONS
    No weapons including pocket knives and tasers. No pepper spray/mace. These items will be confiscated and not returned.
