About The Event
Chris Stapleton at Pinnacle Bank Arena has been rescheduled to October 15, 2021. Your ticket will be honored for the new date.
About Chris Stapleton:
Christopher Stapleton is an award-winning American singer-songwriter who wrote multiple hits for many country/rock/pop musicians before stepping into the limelight himself with his smash debut album, 'Traveller,' in 2015.
Born and raised in Kentucky, Chris Stapleton is an American musician who spent years in Nashville as a sought-after songwriter, furnishing songs for numerous artists. Easy to spot due to his signature long hair and prodigious beard, he became a major star in the autumn of 2015 when his debut solo album, Traveller, practically swept the CMAs.
In 2001 Stapleton landed a publishing deal just four days after moving to Nashville. "That is not anybody's story,’ he acknowledges, “But that's mine." For the next decade or so, he scored an impressive number of hits with well-known musicians, including George Strait ("Love's Gonna Make It Alright"), Kenny Chesney ("Never Wanted Nothing More"), Luke Bryan ("Drink a Beer”), Thomas Rhett (“Crash and Burn”), Darius Rucker ("Come Back Song"), and Josh Turner ("Your Man”). Lee Ann Womack, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw have also all recorded his songs.
In the fall of 2015, Stapleton became the first artist to ever to win Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards, where he and Justin Timberlake performed a show-stealing duet of the George Jones classic, "Tennessee Whiskey" and Timberlake's "Drink You Away.” In 2016, the Grammy committee took notice, granting him four nominations and then two awards: Best Country Solo Performance and Traveller won Best Country Album.
About The Marcus King Band:
A 25-year-old guitar phenom and innovative songwriter, Marcus King can simultaneously switch from swaggering rock to supersonic soul – with his vocal powers taking center stage on debut solo record El Dorado, out now. The album is a genre-bending release from a world-class young talent, that will establish him as one of the most soulful voices of his generation.
Marcus started learning guitar at age three or four. He has played professionally since he was 11 and always knew he wanted to make music his life. A fourth-generation musician, Marcus has followed in his family’s footsteps. His grandfather was a country guitarist, and his father continues to perform live.
The Marcus King Band founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 2013, is his tight knit group. Drummer Jack Ryan, bass player Stephen Campbell, trumpeter/trombonist Justin Johnson, sax/steel guitarist Dean Mitchell along with Marcus—bring an irreplaceable combination of commitment, craft and soul to their work and are one of the hardest working bands today.
About Yola:
Yolanda Claire Quartey, known professionally as Yola or Yola Carter, is an English musician, singer and songwriter. Yola received four nominations at the 62nd Grammy Awards, including the all-genre Best New Artist category.
